In the main square of the city. In 1.853, a clock-lamp by José Rodríguez Losada of great artistic value was added to the square.
Losada made the mechanism for the Puerta del Sol clock in Madrid and was one of the architects of the Big Ben clock in London.
The Losada Clock had an eminent public function since, being connected to the Railway Station through wiring, it reported the departure and arrival times of trains.
